Cloe, wonderful reminders. I would love to see this in a single, small, ocean-themed design that people could tape on the refrigerator door.
A extra contribution I enjoy making is leaving my air conditioner off year round here in Florida, surprisingly easy once one acclimates, taking only a couple of weeks when the weather turns hot. I have found that I really enjoy experiencing the natural rhythms of the day by leaving all the windows open, especially when the afternoon rains start. And hearing the birds and crickets is an extra bonus. Having a small floor fan on in the middle of the day makes everything quite pleasant, and my electric bill is typically under $40 per month. I am really enjoying the freedom that comes with living more lightly on the planet. The next step for me is a lower impact vehicle.
Would love to see a local green social group form where we can get to know one another better.
Thank you for all you do for the community.
